"IDEAeventi: The Sicilian Wedding You've Never Dared to Imagine" Interview with Andrea Gentile, founder of IDEAeventi 4.0
Journalist: In a land as beautiful as Sicily, what truly distinguishes an IDEAeventi event?
Andrea Gentile: Identity. Every event is a tailor-made dress. We never offer pre-defined packages: we listen, create, and stage something that never existed before. Our goal is to amaze guests and leave the newlyweds with the feeling of having experienced something unique.
Journalist: Where did IDEAeventi come from?
Andrea Gentile: It was born from a simple dream: to make the ordinary extraordinary. We started in a small workshop and today we manage a 700-square-meter facility with a showroom, press center, photography studio, laser lab, event spaces, and a multidisciplinary team. But the spirit has remained the same: to create wonder.
Journalist: What type of couple chooses you?
Andrea Gentile: Couples who don't want "a wedding," but "their wedding." Often professionals, creatives, or newlyweds traveling from abroad to get married in Sicily and seeking complete, rapid, and spectacular organization. They love experiential luxury, not ostentatious luxury.
Journalist: What's your strength?
Andrea Gentile: The fact that we don't delegate anything. Photography, printing, graphics, scenography, animation, audio, video, laser, UV, gadgets, shows... everything is done in-house. This allows us speed, quality, and control over every detail. And when necessary, we select reliable partners only for catering.
Journalist: What would you say to someone looking for a wedding planner?
Andrea Gentile: Please note: "wedding planner" doesn't mean "generic organizer." We are the artistic directors of your day. IDEAeventi creates an experience, not just an outline. From the proposal to the final party, every gesture is guided by a narrative concept.
Journalist: What's the craziest event you've organized?
Andrea Gentile: A Bollywood-style wedding in Sicily, complete with choreography, horses, (fake!) elephants, and an Indian-Sicilian fusion menu. But we've also offered intimate weddings, where the wow factor lies in the details: a personalized perfume corner, a keepsake table, a photographic tableau under the stars.
Journalist: And what about the future?
Andrea Gentile: We're launching a franchise system to open IDEAeventi locations in major Italian cities. The goal? To bring our vision wherever couples dream big. At the same time, we're developing a visual quote configurator based on personalized cards, a game that makes quoting an exciting experience.
