What was that day like?

“I was almost always asleep… but they put me in a soft blanket that felt like a cloud. Every time they tucked me in, I felt warm and cuddled. There was no rush, everything flowed slowly, like an endless lullaby.”

Do you remember the photographers?

“They were so quiet! They moved me very slowly, as if I were made of cotton candy. They always smiled at me, even though I had my eyes closed. They made me feel safe, like I was in my mommy and daddy's arms.”

What do you think of your newborn photos now?

“They make me laugh. My face was all chubby and I looked like a little king. There's a photo of me wrapped up like a bundle, another of me leaning on my hands: looking at them, I almost feel like I'm already telling a story, even though I was only a few days old.”

Are you happy that your parents did this service?

“Yes, so I can see how I was when I first came into the world. It's like having my first scrapbook. Mom and Dad show me those photos every now and then, and I think: It was just me, tiny and already so loved.”

Did you feel comfortable?

“Yes! The studio was warm and quiet, it felt like being in your mother's womb. No one was in a rush, and everything was done calmly.”

Did you feel the presence of mom and dad?

“Of course! Even though I was asleep, I knew they were there. I could feel their hands close to me and their scent… that made me feel even more at peace.”

Was there anything funny?

“A little! Every now and then they put funny hats or soft headbands on my head. I think Mom and Dad laughed softly, but I continued to sleep peacefully.”

Were you afraid at any point?

“No, never. Everything was slow and delicate. Every time they adjusted me, it was like receiving a caress. And if I cried, they immediately picked me up to calm me down.”

What do you like most about your photos?

"They tell how small and fragile I was... and how much love was already around me. Each photo is like a hug that lasts forever."
